Gemini Balsamic Moon

Today is a day for learning, and teaching—as in inspiring… though, much more significantly—and maybe more conspicuously—today is a day for enlightening.

Today the very early morning moon illuminates Venus in conjunction at 6°01′ Gemini and then moves without any connection for the rest of the day, allowing you to really absorb and process that which you encounter, or are confronted by, while later in the day the sun connects to the North Node through the twenty-ninth degree of Gemini…

We are learning, collectively and individually, that, through much mental/psychic work, emotional processing, and concentrated compassion, that “the rewards you are seeking may be hidden way beneath the surface—the answers you want are often held within yourself, or others, and it can be just a simple matter of having, and keeping, faith in the search.”¹

Again, only in embracing the vaguenesses of the unknown and unknowable, are you able to enlighten yourself and your way… “you may need to get used to operating in the dark or acting without a clear view of outcomes.”¹

Especially now that Mercury is retrograde. In Cancer.

Concentrated efforts toward what «can» be changed, and what «is» in one’s control may be much more empowering now over panic, fear, and preferred ignorance, though you’ll likely see examples of both.

The yearly solar/nodal conjunction is something of a big deal… and this year it occurs through the last degree of Gemini, opening with something of a monologue message of its own (as you’re most likely noticing, since the nodal Gemini/Sagittarius shift, and through this Gemini season, brutally honest messages and truths are emerging in all directions…) which will highlight new awareness, both individually and collectively.

This highlighting, through Gemini, is bringing light to a desperate darkness, though this darkness may be something that we think we understand or know all about… and we’re discovering, now, that these righteous claims are needing to be rethought… essential information, in order words, is coming into the light.

And because we’re still navigating through the balsamic phase of the moon, to let go of how we have always thought of something—in the assumption that we’re right and know everything, or what we have considered toward this or that, especially upon learning new truths to eradicate the old understandings—letting go of what we think we know to make space for what actually needs to be known is imperative; much more, questioning ourselves, and our thoughts and beliefs, can be both enlightening and educational… and incredibly freeing.

Again—envision yourself as an empty, transparent vessel…

Today’s solar/nodal conjunction sets a new tone, and will likely illuminate synchronicities, cosmic collaborations, and karmic purposes occurring, offering clues regarding soul/psyche alignments, and possibly, “a release from unbearable pressures, freeing one for new tasks… here we have another kind of “leaving behind,” a liberation from the past”² in ways that are more personal to you.
