Pisces 1st Quarter Moon at 0°20′
ॐOracular Mantra—a once in a lifetime doorway is opening…
Today’s first quarter moon occurs just after both the sun, and then the moon later in the day, move into the zero point degree of Sagittarius and Pisces, respectively… this freshly mutable canvas of possibility—mixed and mingled with an even elemental balance, through all but air—invites you to feel your way through it all.
Several things occurring here beyond a first quartered influence, allow me to delineate:
To further emphasize the current mutability abound, Venus and the sun are moving into Sagittarius—another mutable energy—compounding even further the vibrations toward the promotion of greater depths, to look beyond, to invite deeper and deepening connections… and these aims will linger through the next five weeks.
Until December 21st, when Jupiter and Saturn meet in conjunction, Jupiter will be moving within the likes of Pluto and Saturn, and will meet its midpoint degree between the two heavyweights around November 27th… Jupiter already struggles within the challenges of Capricorn, though when there’s a will there truly is a way—however, when Jupiter is caught within the complexities of Pluto and the constraints of Saturn, toward the needs to accomplish something real in Capricorn… Jupiter can become a bit rundown.
It is important to realize that the last time these three planets were in such tight conjunction, previous to earlier this January, was in the thirteenth century, in 1285, through the Crusades; before that, as far back as 1894 BCE!—when it is possible that the civilization of Babylon was born—this isn’t energy to be taken lightly.
Obviously, the phrasing of Babylon provokes varying notions… though one thing remains a constant in origin to this term: rules. Rules for regulations and trade and the order of law were created and initiated within Babylon, establishing then what we now associate with Judaism, Christianity, and Islamic etymologies.
Where does mutability align itself within all of this, you ask?—cyclic patterns of change and an inherent instinct to evolve…

With the sun and the moon both ‘completing’ the degrees of Aquarius to meet in conjunction upon that zero point degree of Pisces for today’s first quarter moon, the zodiacal energy beyond Aquarius, the essence of All That Is and All That Ever Was and All That Could Ever Be come together in a most cosmic interconnectedness… in total union, to dissolve forevermore from this dimension in the directional of hope of the next…
This year has definitely been a doozy… but, regardless of circumstance, we should each be and feel so endlessly blessed to be participating within a major cosmic turning point within the history of time itself—oh my holy holy—a shift in consciousness is occurring, and we quite literally have never been here before, even in terms of cyclic patterning, or in terms of history poetically repeating itself in a way we can learn from our mistakes.
Not Yet has never before occurred.
This degree of Pisces, I suppose, in its most spiritual sense, associates itself with the concept of exchange… to exchange is to ‘give up something for something else’ and the root of this word: is change.
Mutability is change…
And the change being asked if each of us is in giving up No Longer for Not Yet…

With the three heavyweights in Capricorn, strategically in the Now, after all these centuries of evolution or resistance thereof—the astrology of the moment, of 2020, is announcing the need for structures to change, to be exchanged for new and improved structures in Aquarius. Institutional structures, such as government, banking, education, and big business corporations are internally—and sometimes inherently—corrupt and crumbling before us… to not evolve with these shifts would be futile.
Particularly, through Pluto.
Wherever Pluto moves in the chart is where death and rebirth are occurring… where healing and transformation are paramount.
There is an unshakeable strength and commitment of intention to fulfill life’s purpose now… and where there’s a will there will still be a way—but to avoid breaking, one must bend in these efforts.
As Rebekah Hirsch writes, “whenever a person experiences this state of being, alchemy occurs and they return changed, transformed… perhaps some youthful hope has died, something we longed for has been lost but something new is born—through these difficult journeys, old shadows are released and new awareness emerges into the light, liberated from the memories and beliefs that have been blocking us… Pluto opens a pathway to a profound depth of connection with the source of our creative personal power…”
Another detail about today is that Jupiter traditionally rules Pisces, as well as Sagittarius, and so today’s lunarly event is governed by Jupiter, which is in Capricorn, somewhat deflated at the moment, currently preparing to move between the heavyweights, and striving through December… what this might mean is that the ideal you are envisioning and/or working toward will demand great measures—but the personal evolution you will experience throughout this change/exchange within your reality: inevitable.
Though bending and changing, evolving and exchanging, will be the Way.
