In the follow-up story to “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, Rob Brezny reviews its plot, informing the reader that “our heroine uses a magic mirror as a portal into a fantastical land—there she encounters the Red Queen, and soon the two of them are holding hands as they run as fast as they can… Alice notices that despite their great effort, they don’t seem to be moving forward. What’s happening? The Queen clears up the mystery: in her realm, you must run as hard as possible just to remain in the same spot…”
I appreciate his synopsis. And today may feel like this.
Something has been emerging for some time now, and it’s getting to a real breaking point-crossroads of sorts—still, today’s moon illuminates a Venus/Uranus opposition through a conjunction to Uranus in Taurus, all through the seventh degree… a degree which associates itself to “universal love, highest powers, and feeling blessed.”
Metaphorically, you might be approaching a magic mirror/portal into a fantastical land of ideal—toward your bluer than blue horizons—and just for today, perhaps, you feel suspended in time… you want to move forward, you want to get going—but instead of allowing an overwhelm of restlessness—how about being present in the moment where you are?
Being suspended in time can be a precious pause, if you let it be.
Change will come, it will—it is happening in every moment…
Whatever ‘magical mirror’ you’re using—even if you don’t feel as though it’s getting you anywhere… there’s something to it. Trust it. And be honest with it, with what you truly see. Something quite large, in fact, is seeking you, too—but running in place won’t transport you… only the presence of time used effectively.
