ROOTING OUT THE UNNECESSARY

ROOTING OUT THE UNNECESSARY

Forecast for Friday, April 23rd
Virgo Gibbous Moon; Part 2

Today the moon moves through Virgo in a sweeping fashion, much as Virgoan energies swoop in and out of the day—seeking to learn, understand, improve, and synthesize—all in an effort toward effectiveness and efficiency…

Through today’s sweeping and swooping, however, Mercury takes its turn connecting to Uranus in conjunction, (Venus initiated this inevitable parade yesterday, and the sun will eventually follow suit April 30th, all through the same degree…) suggesting that this eleventh degree of Taurus is something of a sign.

The nurturing and care I suggested to be taken by the heart yesterday, in all Venusian matters, should be taken today in all Mercurial matters… meaning that both feelings and thoughts are opening to a much-needed reinvigoration and/or review.

Paying attention to the details will be imperative through the remainder of the month (though, always taking time to discern your surroundings, as well as the state of the world stage, would also be a good start)… rooting out any negativity, overgrowth, unnecessary weight, or destructive motivations within your own reality would also serve you now.

To begin. This is only the beginning…

It is time to start thinking more for yourself—and standing up for yourself and your personal rights… understanding where the overlaps are, and trusting the feeling from within when they begin to blur a bit… when you are being honest with yourself about the tear that is occurring in all directions.

Simply having an opinion, anymore, is next to worthless—actually understanding what you’re talking about and having the research and literature to support your truly defined opinions will hold much more weight… and a Virgo moon is ideal for learning, understanding, sorting, discerning, and considering toward improvements.

Though, you will likely be quite surprised by what you find to be true through all the muck you’ve been told.

Our minds are still racing back and forth, longing for a return to ‘normality’, trying to stitch our future to our past and refusing to acknowledge the rupture. But the rupture exists. And in the midst of this terrible despair, it offers us a chance to rethink the doomsday machine we have built for ourselves. Nothing could be worse than a return to normality. [Historically, pandemics have forced humans to break with the past and imagine their world anew. This one is no different.] It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next. We can choose to walk through it, dragging the carcasses of our prejudice and hatred, our avarice, our data banks and dead ideas, our dead rivers and smoky skies behind us. Or we can walk through lightly, with little luggage, ready to imagine another world. And ready to fight for it.❞
