PREPARING FOR THE UNKNOWABLE

PREPARING FOR THE UNKNOWABLE

WEEKLY WRITE-UP•••
MAY 1st-9th, 2021

This first week of May will require patience and a resolved trust toward your inner compass, should you be willing to do your research and prepare appropriately against any potential anticipations, even those least likely…

Through this first week Saturn moves through the thirteenth degree of Aquarius—which associates itself with ‘being plugged in to what’s going on no matter where one is; having one’s antennae out; psychological insight; putting together an accurate interior picture of reality; perceiving a situation’s positive and negative possibilities and changing one’s course accordingly; considering all angles until one finds a truth that really resonates…’*

No mind is much employed upon the present; recollection and anticipation fill up almost all our moments…❞
——Samuel Johnson

However, having an open mind toward all that you do not fully know in certainty or appropriately understand could reward you greatly in weeks to come…

Truly, the indecision may begin to bug you—it’s not really indecision, though, is it?—it’s actually possibility coming into direct contact with the unknown and unknowable…

Remember who you are… and to try and have a little fun with it—because you and you alone (no excuses!) are the author of your own life, and you are being asked to be personally accountable for it now—and the twists and turns are emerging.

Saturday Forecast
Capricorn Disseminating Moon
—May 1st

A Capricorn moon influence provides an overwhelming need to persevere, to build, to plan, and to prepare…

The moon does not illuminate today’s major celestial traffic, being the sun connecting by conjunction to Uranus through the eleventh degree of Taurus while simultaneously squaring Saturn, currently at 13° Aquarius… however, a Saturn-ruled moon nevertheless inspires a determined motivation.

The building, here, that you’ve been working toward could experience a bit of a shift, to say the least… and might provide you further opportunities to revise your plans and preparations—because what we so easily consider to be a ‘problem’ is always always an opportunity in clever disguise.

Some of the sweetest berries grow among the sharpest thorns.❞
——Gaelic proverb

Through this persevering determination, please remember to be patient and to care for yourself accordingly…

As you care for yourself—and I mean really nurturing yourself, nutritionally and emotionally and psychically, and so on—you will be, essentially and subsequentially, be nurturing everything around you…

A grounded-ness should be important here, despite any and all Uranian influences—which could truly uproot that which was not going to grow anyhow—as a sense of foundation through whatever inherent or embraced changes you’re navigating through will only further support your efforts of evolution.

Through this nurturing, beyond an individual example, the collective may further enforce the rooting out of destructive practices—and may it remember to applaud and celebrate the good… remember that we are all, both individually and collectively, trying to grow into this new future—a future that is yet to be created—whether we are enthused about it or not. No Longer and Not Yet mentalities now mean something so much more than they ever did only a year ago…

You may find yourself feeling an inner need to plan, or to at least understand with now discernment of what you might need to anticipate… “watching, waiting and feeling out the atmosphere before taking any action will lead to the best answer… observing others’ reactions will provide clues, as well—if something doesn’t feel quite right, and a change in the environment seems imminent, taking precautions ahead of time can save a lot of problems.”¹

Cultivate peace first in the garden of your heart by removing the weeds of lust, hatred, greed, selfishness, and jealousy. Then only those who come in contact with you will be benefited by your vibrations of peace and harmony.❞
——Sivananda

As you nurture yourself, and thereby all others and all else, do try to consider that through this nurturing you are slowly, and strategically, and thoroughly creating this new future—and ideally, this new future both welcomes and sustains your ideal.

Sunday Forecast
Capricorn/Aquarius Disseminating Moon
—May 2nd

By noon on the west coast the moon moves from Capricorn to Aquarius—though the lunarly language remains governed by Saturn—our determined motivations could become a bit more open-minded.

Yesterday’s solar conjunction to Uranus remains electrified, perhaps quite literally, and remains highlighted into tomorrow’s last quartered moon—today, then, is something of its own pivot from what was to what could be…

It may feel as though it’s more of What Will Be, but What Could Be is really more appropriate, and so much more effective.

❝Imagination is the outreaching of mind… the bombardment of the conscious mind with ideas, impulses, images, and every sort of psychic phenomena welling up from the preconscious. It is the capacity to ‘dream dreams and see visions…’
——Rollo May

Mercury connects to Pluto by trine as the moon illuminates this in conjunction, through the twenty-seventh degree of Capricorn, inspiring early morning thoughts and feelings—again, quite literally—inspiring more penetrating means of understanding the full scope and depth of both your circumstances, as well as your immediate environment, and the world stage theatrics of the collective within the world at large… and also toward striving for your goals and ideals.

Mercury also connects to Jupiter by square, and Jupiter is moving through the last degree of Aquarius… which would suggest that it would be cooperative to allow and embrace new beginnings, necessary changes, and spontaneous shifts.

With Jupiter at this degree, moving into Pisces on May 14th, the expansions we’re feeling, especially in our personal realities, are quite awakening… “you may feel that you are suddenly able to do something that truly reflects your inner self and what you’ve always wanted or meant to become… [again] care will need to be taken with this great effort of birth and rebirth to ensure a smooth transition into another dimension of life.”¹

It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.
——Anthony Robbins

Further, seemingly latent talents and potentials are being acknowledged and explored, given actual consideration—there is likely to be “an awakening to a whole new field of opportunity, and this can be very exciting, although it can be somewhat confusing and confronting…”¹

Adjustments will be required, as well as revisions and reforms, all in an effort to find deeper meaning within it all.

There may be sensations of impatience, or those underlying feelings of urgency—remember that things are changing spastically and sporadically—take your time in your steps; get a grip in your grounding.

Silence at the proper season is wisdom, and better than any speech.
——Plutarch

●Monday Forecast
Aquarius Last Quarter Moon at 13°35′
12:48pm PDT; 1:48pm MDT; 2:48pm CDT; 3:48pm EDT
—May 3rd

Fluctuations feel weighted as the last quarter moon connects to Saturn by a degree toward a grounded and stubborn Taurean sun squaring back at Saturn… forward-thinking or not—we’re being pushed forward into a very heavy heap of unknowns and unknowable repercussions.

Those of you who fear change—you likely haven’t been having a good go of things for awhile now, but it’s looking to become a bit more difficult for you… for those of you who are even the tiniest bit flexible—you’re likely thriving through much of these twists and turns. Things are about to become even more interesting…

Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble…
And if I stay there will be double…
So come on and let me know…
——The Clash; “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” lyrics

The Truth at this time, or the answer, or solution—your own and/or that of the collective at large—may be so obvious it’s overlooked, or there is also a chance that it is spoken to a degree of potential backlash… this is a good time to “confront your own fears…”³ and there may be a sense of distanced perspective or emotional detachment—either of which might be best at this time.

See, there’s still so much to learn and understand, and to be so quick with theory, conviction, meaning, or understanding could be detrimental at this time—yet, having a grounded, though open-minded, stance within your own thoughts and feelings… so as not to be fooled or duped could support the notion that you will be asked to form your own viewpoint, especially if it goes against what the majority is leaning into.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.❞
——George Bernard Shaw

So, should you righteously state your claims of something at this time, it might be rejected somewhat harshly… still—if you are suppressing your fundamental thoughts and feelings toward anything important, especially on the individual level—this could prove quite sticky upon the horizon.

Through this extreme dynamic, again, “you will find in your own sensitivity to the environment, and to the people around you, the very instrument that can sense how they’re feeling or what’s coming up next—watching, waiting and feeling out the atmosphere before taking any action will lead to the best answers… it can indicate a need to live day by day and not make any major decisions until things become clear…”¹ as well as the “ability to discover basic natural facts that allow us to plan in advance for action—planning for the near future is a possibility because the potential (or seed) of the future is already operating at the core of the present.”²

There is also, however, a loose square to Uranus… which feels like an uncompromising extreme, inspires an inclination toward “feel[ing] the need to cut through any obstacles you encounter and go straight ahead, regardless of any unseen hazards on your way…”¹

And it is true that Uranus has the ‘right of way’ toward Saturn’s resistances and traditions, rules and regulations… and will only become more and more rebellious as the year progresses—Saturn’s current grip may try to hold, nevertheless, clinging to what was or what is, influencing something of an isolation, a desperateness, struggle, or constraints, and “getting stuck in the details of the situation will probably just add to a much longer outcome than is needed.”¹

A long dispute means both parties are wrong.❞
——Voltaire

Remember. It’s meaning we’re all after. And the ideal.

And as astrologer Dane Rudhyar stated, “Man must be inspired by a vision of what is possible for him to achieve; he has to organize a schedule of necessary activities if the work is to be done in terms of successive moves, each requiring a specialized type of skill and strength—i.e. a hierarchy of functions; he has to find a propitious time for beginning the work… it implies the possibility of shortening the length of time needed for progress by cutting through obstacles and delays.”²

Like a ‘train through a tunnel’, are you seeing the light at the end of the tunnel?—or are you still navigating in darkness?

Go ahead—talk it out with anyone willing to listen—Mercury has moved into Gemini, and so we are inclined to share our thoughts as quickly as we think of them.

Tuesday Forecast
Aquarius/Pisces Balsamic Moon
—May 4th

The moon is beyond its last climactic point in this lunarly phase, now in its balsamic phase, in Aquarius, a phase shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera suggests “we look to the future and think about how it might be…”³

Instead of responding or reacting to the moment at hand… perhaps considering the long-term would benefit you Now?

Any ability to envision more than one outcome, too, would be a boon toward your capacity to prepare, to rise to the occasion.

Speaking of which, today’s moon works much of the day applying to Jupiter before connecting in conjunction through the twenty-ninth degree of Aquarius, re-illuminating all inner longings to surface and emerge in full color and animation… with this in mind, and embodied, Jupiter’s influence here upon the overall horizon should have immense impact upon your ideals—try to remember your grounding as you float and flitter, fluttering above it in a state of joy or ease, levitating between reality and possibility…

With each passage of human growth we must shed a protective structure [like a crustacean]. We are left exposed and vulnerable—but also yeasty and embryonic again, capable of stretching in ways we hadn’t known before.❞
——Gail Sheehy

Wednesday Forecast
Pisces Balsamic Moon
—May 5th

Should it not already feel as though the Powers That Be have spoken or shifted enough—today’s moon squares the Nodes through the eleventh degree…

Things might not be making sense—either irrationally or illogically, reactively or responsively—as though an entirely new manner of Wonderland is being offered… ideals, expectations, traditions, and emotional indulgences are all being both bundled together disconnectedly or diabolically disjointed or displaced against the others.

Disillusionment could be a certain detail today… do try to remember who you are through the uncertainty of your surroundings—allow your inner compass to do the heavy lifting.

The difficulties you meet will resolve themselves as you advance. Proceed, and light will dawn, and shine with increasing clearness on your path.
——D’Alembert

Thursday Forecast
Pisces Balsamic Moon
—May 6th

As today’s dreamy Piscean balsamic moon connects to the nebulousness of Neptune in conjunction, an ultimate ease by Venus moves through the last comfy degrees of Taurus, and simultaneously applying an eventual square to idealistic Jupiter—a square that will exact itself on Saturday through the last degrees of Taurus and Aquarius… collaborative cooperations toward the ideal are paramount.

Today reality and possibility, ideals and silliness may all feel a bit blurried.

These ideals and goals, dreams and visions… of course, it is known that “many things can be materialized in our lives; they can come seemingly out of nowhere—they may be messages, voices, noises, stories, or episodes from one’s life; objects can be materialized as well… we can conjure them up—sometimes it can cause confusion, other times enlightenment—realizing that one can create one’s own reality and the responsibility implied in this can lead to the belief that just about anything is possible in one’s life.”¹

This is a degree that astrologer Dane Rudhyar explained as associated through the “ability to give of one’s own vital energy to substantiate one’s conscious ideals or unconscious desires.”²

Further, “the person who believes he or she has a mission or mandate, or any special gift that can be of value to his community, must substantiate this belief—he has to produce results… sometimes this involves difficulties and special conditions or circumstances; it always demands to some extent the gift of some power of value which is deeply one’s own.”²

Despite how anything within your reality, or within your version of it, are seemingly looking up—do try to do something with it or by it… inclining yourself into escapist or martyred tendencies would invite shadowy misconceptions and furthered disillusionments.

The act of contemplation creates the thing contemplated.❞
——Isaac D’Israeli

Friday Forecast
Aries Balsamic Moon
—May 7th

The blurry edges quickly become obvious and somewhat jarring today as reality kicks back in with an Aries moon applying a conjunction to Chiron, exact tomorrow…

Mars is involved here, too, from the egoic defenses of Cancer, by square, which will moon will fall into before its conjunction to Chiron—suggesting that it is likely, however harshly, that you are well aware of whatever setbacks or obstacles are participating with you or against you… what is important now, however, is what it is exactly that you’re doing in relation to what it is you actually want.

It is said that the present is pregnant with the future…❞
——Voltaire

Sensitivities and defensiveness may prevent you from truly feeling the raw joy of these moments—these quickening moments of becoming… though it would be a real shame to waste your precious time on closing down or off or clamping down, or chasing away potential openings of ease.

Balancing What Is with What Could Be in realistically strategic ways is what today’s focus should really be about… though feelings and ego could easily slip in and muck it all up, sucking much of the fun out of it altogether.

Try not to feel sorry for yourself or for others—but motivated for change and empowerment.

Saturday Forecast
Aries Balsamic Moon
—May 8th

Depending upon how you chose to spend your time yesterday will prove much of today’s energies for you..

Where are you giving your power away? And why?

Are you authoring your actions?—are you following through?

In what ways can you strengthen your weaknesses?

Do you undermine your own potential?—or the potential of your circumstances at hand; your ideals?

Are you living (toward) an individuated experience of authenticity?

Explore thyself. Herein are demanded the eye and the nerve.❞
——Henry David Thoreau

Sunday Forecast
Aries/Taurus Balsamic Moon
—May 9th

Opportunities are never lost—they are typically taken by others… and today’s energies may inspire you to move, think, and feel beyond yourself, more deeply, with more awareness—in an effort in avoiding the missing out of any more.

Again, depending upon how you’ve been choosing to spend, trade, waste, exchange, or create your time—today will likely be a furthered repercussion in results…

The moon moves from impulsivity through combative Aries to rooted resolve through resisting Taurus while Venus has moved into Gemini, Mars clinging through Cancer… it is a powerful pull, now, to balance your thoughts and feelings toward what you want instead of dwelling within that which you do not—even if there is so much occurring in all directions that has you feeling the defensive need to talk it all out, everything that is precisely wrong with this, that, and the other thing…

Envision evolution.

Think Truth.

Seek solutions.

Imitate ideals.

Revive reality.

Everything is unfamiliar now—anything could happen…

Are you prepared to rise to the occasion of Life itself?

Civilization no longer needs to open up wilderness; it needs wilderness to open up the still largely unexplored human mind…
