Aquarius/Pisces Balsamic Moon—March 28
Today Venus moves beyond Saturn—and thereby out of besiegement—but not before the moon illuminates their conjunction.
This conjunction occurs through a degree associated to comfort and care, and having a place of belonging… and perhaps most importantly, a sense of security; and this alone allows Saturn to make sense within this arrangement by degree. Awareness, too, enters into this—the awarenesses necessary toward what is necessary to allow these very concepts and suggestions to even be possible.
Depending upon the ways in which Venus’ besiegement and its symbolisms and manifestations were represented for you, personally, these will be related toward today’s lunarly illuminated Venus/Saturn conjunction as suggested thereby; concepts of quality will emerge, as will maturity and integrity, lonely yearnings to connect, and either defending or defensive (emotional) boundaries.
It’s possible, too, that whatever the moon triggered yesterday, through its transiting illumination between Mars and Uranus, too, remains quite potently vexing…
Knowing the right time to act, now, too, is extraordinarily key.
It is possible that something, or someone, somewhere, is ‘stirring up’ something, manipulating the energies, and the agendas and meanings, truths, and actuality… the last possible twinges of Venus escaping its besiegement—yearning desperately for comforts and care, a place to be, to be real and true, to be whole and sovereign, with some semblance of security… ultimately, to trust, or not to trust—this is truly the dilemma, plain and simply.
Leo Tolstoy once wrote, “if, then, I were asked for the most important advice I could give, that which I considered to be the most useful to the men of our century, I should simply say: in the name of God, stop a moment, cease your work, look around you…”
Indeed. Forevermore.
Further, upon the point of acting—as well as struggling with issues of trust, boundaries, security, awareness, basic comforts and standards—this is a moon, for the majority of the day on the west coast, as well as the entire day on the east coast and beyond, that is moving through Aquarius in its balsamic phase; this is a moon shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera states that “we look to the future and think about how it might be…”
With the moon in Saturn-ruled Aquarius, illuminating Saturn holding tightly tightly tightly its last grip on Venus, in Aquarius—there’s a heavy lot of Saturn energy today… and this can be quite heavy, overwhelming, oppressive, weighted, costly, obstructive or just harshly punishing, particularly for the more feeling-natured types—the future may not look exactly sparkly today.
Perhaps this awareness, through this degree of import, which today’s illumination occurs through—perhaps this awareness is to reality check the realness of potentials, probables, and possibilities, be they advantageous or harshly realistic.
However—then again—astrologer Dane Rudhyar transcribed this degree through a lens of appreciation; as “the warmth of understanding which comes to those who, early in life, are open to new possibilities…”
Again—awareness. And, through Saturn, preparation and respect for cycles and evolutionary flexibility.
Rudhyar states that “man is never left without assistance when eagerly seeking to grow emotionally and spiritually… even if he does not consciously realize the intent and value of what sustains his self-development and cushions the shocks which life provides his growth in understanding, still the assistance is there—he may think: no one understands me, but the understanding is there if he does not egotistically take for granted that life and society owe him everything.”
And with Saturn—life and society owe no one anything… and there’s no crying in baseball.
Either way, whichever way your personal reality is emerging for you—today is about the differentiations and boundaried dynamics between awareness and disillusionment, and the consequences thereof and toward everything in between.
❝The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.❞
