Gemini Crescent Moon
—April 5

The sun is in Aries, Mercury is separating from its very recent superior conjunction to the sun, Venus is moving into Pisces, and Mars is cautiously separating from its conjunction to Saturn—exact yesterday, and Jupiter is so close to Neptune these days the edges are beginning to blur…

And the moon is healthy and revived in a crescent phase, in Gemini.

What a literally and figuratively and symbolically beautiful vibration!—and such an encouraging timing to take in your entire reality and its panorama with acutely fresh eyes, and review your details that much more adroitly than you’ve managed previously, and to honor some of the questions you’ve had and put on the shelf for whatever reason, and go in search of new informational answers.

Don’t expect any actual movement, however, as the moon moves today without aspecting anything—unless you want to count a mere sextile to the asteroid Chiron, which is a nontraditional connection… through a degree which astrologer Dane Rudhyar transcribed as representing ‘the experienc[ing of] more intens[ity] and to see[ing] farther…’

How Chiron, the wounded healer, enters into this can be understood as Rudhyar expressed that, through this degree, “one moves into new realms and successfully challenges the fears, the insecurity and the lack of self-confidence of the past in oneself—all negative attitudes which, while conditioned by the social environment, have become engraved upon the unconscious… having achieved this liberation, one can bring to the environment the power generated by self-discipline, skill and self-confidence—one has become at least a potential source of inspiration.”

Again, do not expect any actual movement today—particularly forward movement—as today’s energies and vibrations are more about movements within and movements toward healing (which is neither forward or backward) and open-hearted centeredness (which is but a state of elevated consciousness).

Through today’s Gemini moon, may you be curious, and open-minded, and may you recognize and acknowledge the potential all around you…

And this, my friends, is movement.

All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.
