Leo Gibbous Moon
—April 11

Today’s illuminating event builds each hour throughout the day, until it’s nearly quarter to 6pm on the west coast—and the moon completes a fixed cross with the Nodes while simultaneously opposing Saturn…

To be clear, today’s moon is technically illuminating a t-square between Saturn and the Nodes that was exact late last night.

The degree through which this particularly charged illumination continues to occur is associated with ‘shows of strength’, the kind through which, as they say, angels fear to tread…

Whatever you are currently beginning—or whatever is currently emerging within your reality—you may feel strongly about, and “you may believe passionately in what you are doing… but in order to prove yourself to others you need to present your abilities and feelings boldly and skillfully—you may need to be fully prepared to ‘rush into the ring’ and show what you’re capable of—however, remember to be wary of ‘running into the ring’ unrehearsed, unprepared, or in the wrong frame of mind…”

Do you feel you have the balance, skills and courage to do what is necessary?

If you’re ‘simply’ wanting the fanfare or attention—it won’t end well, and the sun is highlighting this reflection, as it did through the mythology of Icarus. Still, astrologer Dane Rudhyar suggests that it is through this degree that “the ego is in control… but it serves a purpose…” which suggests that a certain amount of healthy ego is necessary now, particularly to drive your motivations forward… will is of the essence now.

Truly, transformation is in the air—almost soberingly…

Perhaps some of the balancing, skills and courage being either demanded or asked of you—perhaps you’re not currently in a position to prefer a particular proposition… though, it might be an obligation, or one of your responsibilities—or—maybe you’re going above and beyond, as they say… either way, focusing upon the developing of specific skills that will benefit you and your efforts, particularly toward a more vertically promotional advancement, will best serve you.

You know how it is with Saturn—if you do the work…

Finally, believing in yourself is key. If you struggle with this, figure it out—or the opportunities will continue to pass you by.

No one reaches a high position without daring.❞
