★FRIDAY FORECAST

Virgo Balsamic Moon —September 23

All day, the moon moves without aspect…

It is a day, according to shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera, that “we go alone to contemplate…”

Continued, “if others wish to do this with us, we can go in a group, but the group needs to focus on its goal rather than turning the day into a social situation… being solitary together is an experience that most modern people do not understand…,” accounts Kaldera, “another possibility is to do some service work together, or some household cleaning—but try to do it as a spiritual exercise… repetitive work is especially good for this.”

I tend to call the sort of monotonously mundane things that still need done ‘mind-numbingly joyful’, as there’s something somewhat soothing to doing something that requires no mental approach.

Another incredibly soothing activity for today, as it is a Virgo balsamic moon—would be a spa day; soak, steam, stretch, or sauna… anything that silences your soul and restores your balance between self-care and body/soul connection. Alternative options could be watering your plants with a little extra love than usual, or feeding the birds in the park, or taking a walk or light hike in nature—just to feel the air on your skin and hear the leaves of the trees whisper and sigh beneath the sunlight…

Enjoy. Truly. Thoroughly.

❝Never miss a good chance to shut up.❞
