★WEDNESDAY FORECAST

Aquarius/Pisces Gibbous Moon—November 2

Today could be tricky y’all… in a yin/yang kinda way.

It’s been a building tension for some time now—as you’re well aware—and as all mutability can attest to, which is to say through wherever Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces fall within your nativity—particularly as Mars has moved into Gemini, and now stationed retrograde, both Gemini and Sagittarius energies will begin to really feel the burn of Mars…

Today’s moon connects to Mars through a degree that describes ‘boiling over…’

This is a truly Mars notion—to boil. Yang.

Is there any resemblance to this notion within your own reality, metaphorically speaking?—are your emotions boiling over the sides of rationality or is your irresponsibility boiling over the point of approval with authority?

There’s still this feeling—carried over from yesterday, and how long before that—this feeling of needing to get/gain/have/keep control over someone (good luck with that)/something/everything/one particular thing… and what is your emotional dependence upon whatever it is you’re aiming to control?

Again, as I’ve suggested in previous posts—particularly since the sun/Venus superior conjunction, as it’s the first time it’s occurred in Libra, and not Scorpio, for the last century, at least… it’s really something to be living within this shift—and within this new potential occurring through that precious place within ourselves, that place that intersects our higher mind and our heart-center. Do try to remain open-minded and open-hearted through all of these challenging energies, from now through New Year.

Today, indeed, is a day for ‘identifying and solving complex problems; staying cool and composed when confronted with a dire problem; following correct procedures; piercing together a mystery by collecting all the facts and testing one’s hunches (especially as the sun and Venus are in Scorpio); provoking a reaction by saying exactly what one thinks; and turning up the voltage in an argument…’

But then the moon moves into Pisces.

Without aspecting.

And when the moon simply moves through the likes of Pisces without any lunarly connection, as shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera writes, “the channel within that links to All That Is opens up, and poetry begins to flow through… it is not [your own] energy, but that of the Universe, and [you’ll] find [yourself] unable to resist its flow…”

And so the energies which called for personal responsibility through Capricorn and Aquarius now become, through Pisces, a call for sacrifice. Always, with Pisces, always… and this sacrifice “is made for the cosmic channel itself.”

Kaldera writes that “Pisceans can be elevated only by first losing themselves, and to maintain that separation of contempt is to keep too much of the self separate…”

Piscean energies have no boundaries.

Further, this moon is a moon when “it’s a good time to work on figuring out how to best open yourself to the Voice of the Universe…”

October 6/7th was the last time we navigated this moon…

And so the day ends with much more yin… and if you can find a way to put the overflowing options of yin toward some of the yang intensities from earlier—then I think you’ll have truly accomplished the ‘mission’ of today’s offerings… which is to say you’ve truly immersed yourself within the problem/challenge/uncontrollable circumstance—to become One with it, to more carefully, respectfully, and naturally understand its components… to more carefully balance that which was out of balance—but then again… sometimes we want just the slightest imbalance to keep us level in the meantime.

Final note: it’s a good day to have your vehicle serviced—the works… like a spa treatment for your automobile. And, why not—book yourself a spa as well and drink a ton of water.

You can tear a poem apart to see what makes it tick… you’re back with the mystery of having been moved by words. The best craftsmanship always leaves holes and gaps… so that something that is not in the poem can creep, crawl, flash or thunder in.
