Cancer Gibbous Moon—February 2

We are fully within Cancer moon vibes now…

And hopefully—and this is a heavy hope—you’re in a place of light, in a place of optimism, and determination, instead of a place of darkness, of pessimism, and of passive-aggressively directed projections toward anyone and everyone.

These are the ins and outs of these days, yea?!

Particularly so when the moon plunges into the tides of Cancer each month—those ever-wavering endlessly undulating tides of emotionality… the monthly ups and downs of self-perpetuated emotional sabotage.

So, again, I do hope that you’re in a healthy leveled place.

Today’s lunarly connections illuminate both aspiration and ambition, which is to be identified within your everyday experiences—within your value systems—through the very personally participating action of positive thinking.

Should you begin to surrender to the inevitable Cancer tide or undertow—think positive thoughts.

Further, determination is necessary today. And self-discipline.

Determination to keep on-keepin on toward the prize.

I read Elizabeth Gilbert’s book ‘Big Magic’ this morning and I would highly recommend her philosophies on creative thinking and inspiration to you—particularly each month when the moon moves through Cancer—to review back through for yourself in an effort to bring yourself back in from the tide…

We so needlessly become so heavy on ourselves, so harshly.

Why do we compromise our own happiness and sense of fulfillment?

Why do we self-sabotage our sense of self-worth?

These needs of yours, and personal values, your ideals and your goals—be shouldn’t be overwhelming or maddening—these should feel exhilarating and thrilling, honoring, and fulfilling.

These should charge you, not deplete you.

I think today may be a peak day to remember as much.

I’m not sure if all of you are aware of my many outlets at this point: there’s my Facebook page, and then there’s my new writing platform—The Planetary Planner—the February Issue is out; each month is always published on the first, if not the last day of the previous month… these are delivered directly to your inbox when you subscribe.

Lying to ourselves is more deeply ingrained than lying to others.
