You might need some help with something today.

Like, actual support.

Or, you may need to volunteer your time, efforts, or resources in one way or another to another.

This shouldn’t be taken on as an opportunity to raise yourself in any way, or to virtue signal, or to put a new sign in your yard to preach to others what you may or may not actually support, or even validate through next year’s tax return… though you may be witness to someone else navigating this opportunity as such.

Whatever it is—it’ll be something real and connective between you and another.

It may be a real challenge to not announce your awesomeness.

But really, the whole point—the essence within—whatever it is you’ll be called or pulled upon to do… it’s not (or shouldn’t be) about what others will think, for better or worse—it’s about doing the right thing without any fanfare, possibly even without a ‘thank you’.

Just you and another, and a connection. That’s it.

Whether you’re the one offering or receiving—try to simply enjoy it for what it is…

And try to remember to say ‘thank you’, either way—for the offering, or the opportunity to be able to offer.
