—SATURDAY FORECAST
Libra/Scorpio Balsamic Moon—November 11
Now that the sun is moving through Scorpio—this month offers the first Scorpio balsamic moon since January.
Today’s moon will finish moving through the latter degree of Libra, squaring Pluto as its ingress plunges it into ‘the depths of Scorpio…’ and immediately connects to Saturn through the first degree…
You could suggest that there might be some real intensity.
Something is changing…
Still, this intensity will likely only be experienced within.
Today, then, marks a point in time that both symbolizes and actively redirects one thing—into another thing entirely…
Which is to say endings and new beginnings—which is to say that something is ending… and allowing you space, should you prepare it and embrace it, to fill it with something possessing new vitality.
Today, then, also illuminates—however intensely—a real reality check.
Perhaps it’s the reality check that inspires such an extreme redirect?—or possibly it’s the redirection that illuminates a reality check toward such new horizons?
Again—as it’s a balsamic moon, in Scorpio no less, these redirections, however quite real, even now if only in your deepest depths of subconsciousness, will likely begin to manifest in actuality only once the new moon has occurred.
Still…
Within this balsamic Underworld—its intensities being experienced within, indeed—these new insights and outlooks and instinctual gut flinches all beg witness to what will inevitably need to change entirely or be thoroughly transformed otherwise through next week.
Something within your personal reality—or individuated being-ness—is preparing its ending, its exit…
It is within your power, then, to choose to honor it for whatever it was—and that you were able to experience it at all—and open to the opportunity of trust, of actively allowing something new and unknown in to your heart… something that changes you absolutely.
❝In her novel Regeneration, Pat Barker writes of a doctor who ‘knew only too well how often the early stages of change or cure may mimic deterioration…’ Cut a chrysalis open, and you will find a rotting caterpillar. What you will never find is that mythical creature—half caterpillar, half butterfly—a fit emblem of the human soul, for those whose cast of mind leads them to seek such emblems. No, the process of transformation consists almost entirely of decay.❞
