★MOON MOODS

—SUNDAY FORECAST

Scorpio Balsamic Moon—November 12

Today’s moon will come so so very, very close to its inevitable newness—to its conjunction with the sun—but its exactness will occur, by technicality, very very early tomorrow morning here on the west coast (1:28am PST; 2:28am MST; 3:28am CST; 4:28am EST… and for those of you across the pond—9:28am in England; 11:28am in Greece—it will appropriately feel more like tomorrow).

Other than a very early opposition to Jupiter through the earlier hours before dawn—the moon moves without aspect all day, which is to say: void of course.

In other words, these lunarly details describe something of a largely intense quiet to be quite deeply experienced rather loudly from within…

Perhaps you can come to such a new and unknown quiet within yourself that you are able to realign yourself to the cosmic clockworks? Perhaps you might actually hear and feel what the universe might really sound and feel like? Perhaps you begin to realize that the voice you are familiar with isn’t actually the voice you recognize when you’re able to dive this deeply within yourself?

And for as quiet as I so loosely and jovially and metaphorically offer—today, from yesterday, still into tomorrow and the day after that—is likely anything but quiet.

Something is changing… something is building.

Today and yesterday’s balsamic moons are governed by Mars, as well as tomorrow’s new moon—as Mars is co-present in Scorpio—currently conjunct the sun. Tomorrow morning’s new moon in Scorpio will be conjunct Mars—all opposite Uranus!!!

Now these are not quiet energies by any means—so indulge in the quiet on offer today—and become quite prepared for changes tomorrow brings…

Have you ever heard the wonderful silence just before the dawn? Or the quiet and calm just as a storm ends? Or perhaps you know the silence when you haven’t the answer to a question you’ve been asked, or the hush of a country road at night, or the expectant pause of a room full of people when someone is just about to speak, or, most beautiful of all, the moment after the door closes and you’re alone in the whole house? Each one is different, you know, and all very beautiful if you listen carefully.
