Continued channeling today—particularly toward breakthroughs.
As the moon moves from Capricorn to Aquarius, from its conjunction with Pluto and toward its conjunction with a retrograded Mercury—that which you learned within structured depths or punished realisms can now be understood and appropriately applied in a new way.
Just as Alice was so entranced with the white rabbit—today’s insights or innovations will likely be worth following… and if it’s in alignment with the cosmos, with the clockworks, and with the channeling of your inner heart-centeredness—well, by golly, you might be on to something…

The eclipse eclipsed enough of my intended inner scheduling to distract my attentions from the Venusian post, which I had in mind to post on Sunday evening…
Alas, all Venus has been up to since Sunday is separating from a conjunction to Chiron, and moving through the second decan of Aries, while Mars separates from its conjunction with Neptune.
Remember that Venus struggles in Aries, especially when Chiron is involved… to reflect upon last week’s Venus/Chiron midpoint degree conjunction—a conjunction through which would describe the efforts, obstacles, or pains you would be willing to endure for that which you desire—occurred through a degree which astrologer Dane Rudhyar transcribed as “projecting into everyday living the realization of wholeness and fulfillment…”
Would this, then, describe a new and everyday routine/reality of seemingly out literally ‘paying the price’ for what you want/desire/seek?
Venus struggles in Aries because Aries is a Mars ruled sign—because Mars takes what it wants and charges after what it wants, without any regard whatsoever for anything or anyone else… and Venus, inherently, seeks harmony.
In Aries, Venus is somewhat forced to ‘take charge’ of itself—which is to say: of all things Venusian… particularly those directed toward Self—be this a taking charge of harmony through:
As you can see, these are related in zodiacal order toward your own nativity, in regard to where Venus was when you were born.
Because this conjunction occurred within the middlemost degree of Aries implies that whatever self-directed journey you are taking charge upon—that you’ve already began… and the Chironic influence, again, could imply something of a struggle, a hardship, an unexpected setback, an obstacle, or otherwise pain.
Rest assured, Venus is moving beyond Chiron… and so struggles are being worked through, hardships are being processed, unexpected setbacks are exploring unintended solutions, obstacles are being navigated, and any pain is being addressed and appropriately treated.
Venus, however, makes no aspects to anything this week, and so forward motion in a regard we are accustomed to may not present itself as an option, most assuredly not a time-efficient option—so this could be an auspicious time to simply focus inward, unapologetically, whatever this might mean for you in regard to your self-directed journey.
Further, these Venusian energies, this week, may be influencing what Rudhyar described as being ‘clothed in light’, as he transcribed that “in however small a degree, every individual may be confronted with the potentiality of a fulfilling act of self-realization and may, ever so relatively, find himself ‘clothed in light’ for an instant… we are told by it that the fulfillment of desire is a possibility, at whatever level and in however incomplete a manner it may be experienced.”
As this week comes to its end, Venus will be moving through the twenty-first degree of Aries, which can imply a defeat…
And finally, however, the next aspect Venus makes, next week, is to Saturn, through the twenty-sixth degree… a degree which Rudhyar offered the phrase of ‘a man possessed of more gifts then he can hold…’
Also—an obsession by potentiality.
Word to the wise, however, all of this abundance and potential comes with its share of necessary adjustments… as it is all, likely, unfamiliar to you, exactly what you’re dealing with—and what, precisely, this will mean for you, and what it will require of you, and how you will take it on in ways that work for you despite the inexperience—it would not be helpful to you to rush toward any of it.
But you might… because, Venus in Aries.
Rudhyar warns that this would only further complicate matters, and I’ll take this further in next week’s Venus post.
To learn new boundaries and limitations, restrictions, and expectations would be wise… slowly, carefully, and intentionally, and only taking on as much as you can embrace a bit at a time—ultimately, Rudhyar warns that there’s no reason to rush toward what is already yours.
❝You can’t always get what you want—but if you try some time, you might just find—you get what you need…❞ ——The Rolling Stones
Those uncomfortable obligatory duties you may be drawn to, or obligated to, now… well—now it’s more specifically down to the more essential ‘practice what you preach’ points.
Are you listening to your inner voice?—your inner knowing?
Are you practicing what you’re preaching?
Are you fully committed to whatever is consuming your energies?
If you’re being totally honest with yourself, it’s likely that you’ll be given a type of insider nudge… you’ll ‘see the signs’, as they say.
In fact, you may be able to see things from an entirely new perspective that you were unable to see, previously, for whatever reason… and please try not to take things too literally—though a Capricorn moon may want to do just that… try to trust.
Still, you may feel as though something just isn’t adding up.
You might need some time alone to reflect, take in, and ponder…
❝When we’re interested in something, everything around us appears to refer to it… the mystics call these phenomena ‘signs’, the sceptics ‘coincidence’, and psychologists ‘concentrated focus’… although I’ve yet to find out what term historians would use.❞ ——Paulo Coelho
Yesterday’s overly optimistic—or overly eager or overly idealistic or overly overly overly—mood, overnight, turned sober, somber, and much more realistic…
Particularly exponentiated through a lunarly square to Jupiter—newly moving in Aries—today’s Saturn-ruled moon experiences this aspecting harshly, in need of foundational repairs, as well as a potential loss of faith… but also feeling the seemingly paralyzing need to ‘fortify oneself; see the bigger picture; see eternal archetypes; and stand firm…’
It’s important, now, to look after your responsibilities—possibly even in an entirely new light.
And, further still, simultaneously, there remains a continued need to wait…
Finally, shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera suggests that this is a moon that is good “for doing work that may be uncomfortable, but that one is duty-bound to carry out to ensure protection…” and so who’s to say the type of dirty work that is needing taken care of—I suppose it would depend on what kind of character you have inherently; if you’re a responsibility avoider—responsibilities are likely piling up all around you…
So… not exactly the happiest or most delightful of moods, today—but you’ll have that… things still need to get done—especially if you’re wanting anything to change.
❝And a step backward, after making a wrong turn, is a step in the right direction.❞ ——Kurt Vonnegut
Today’s lunarly energies, tainted with the basic misunderstandings stemmed from typical Sagittarius whimsy—carry such an eager obliviousness… it requires something of a safeguarding.
Be these energies a result of frustration and a reaction toward movement, however unprepared, or a natural response of eagerness to begin—either way these first thoughts that (should) come well before any actual first steps need to be considered with care…
Considered with care, freshly upon the surface.
Further, you or an/Other within your current circumstances “may feel that you/they are doing what is necessary, however it is probably not the real thing—but more of a training session…”
Most simply transcribed—continued pause should be considered, and preparing for a much needed respite and repair before rash and oblivious eagerness be acted upon.
❝When you hit a wrong note, it’s the next note that makes it good or bad.❞ ——Miles Davis
Despite the moon moving into Sagittarius, beyond the Scorpio depths and eclipsed enlightenments… “you may be moving into a new phase of learning that, despite all your previous experience, is surprisingly difficult.”
And as many times as I can strongly stress to you, again and again, again, and one more time for good measure that above all: patience is the mindset most needed now—you will likely and most directly ignore it.
Impatience may not entirely define the energies… it could also be a kind of inner whirly eagerness—an eagerness to begin.
Open-mindedness and open-heartedness—this should help you navigate these current and upcoming learning curves… though forward motion isn’t necessarily what will result—not yet.
Further, “don’t focus on things continuing to be hard or difficult, as this can lead to it actually happening… don’t read too much into things, as they may not be as they seem—however, acknowledging your shadow, and your projections and perception, will bring clarity…”
Remember, open-mindedness and open-heartedness require trust… whereas fears and failures require trust, as well—and these learning curves, too, will require trust.
Take your time.
❝To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don’t grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float.❞ ——Alan Wilson Watts
David Steindl-Rast, an American Catholic Benedictine monk, once stated that “wherever we come alive, that is the area in which we are spiritual…”
Albert Einstein once said that “the most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious… [that] it is the source of all true art and science—he to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead… his eyes are closed.”
And diarist Anaïs Nin once said that “the personal life deeply lived always expands into truths beyond itself…”
Only when we are truly honest with ourselves about ourselves, and the reality surrounding ourselves, are we able to actually experience the divine within ourselves in our realities.
But that’s the trick and the catch, right!?
The degree through which today’s lunarly eclipse occurs is a degree that celestially describes “the ability to adjust swiftly to a new situation by tuning in to its requirements…” seemingly regardless of how unfamiliar or foreign it may be…
Astrologer Dane Rudhyar transcribed this degree to describe “he who lives in harmony with nature, moving on as new needs arise, finds himself intuitively at home everywhere; he does not make demands upon life, for he has identified himself with the great rhythms of the biosphere and he functions at peace with what they produce.”
This would imply, then, that the entire universe is but within, that heaven, or paradise, or whatever you may call it is simply to be found within yourself… and so, again, the personally honest and sacred soul connection we each hold and sustain with ourselves, should we choose to do so—this connection is divine—this connection is…. everything.
This everything is, quite literally, a mystery…
This everything, then, too, however, is Functioning 101.
These energies might not actually be so exactly smooth and natural, as Saturn moves upon an exact t-square alignment between the sun and the moon, suggesting that whatever adjustments are necessary are either absolutely for real, and thereby without any glimpse of glitch, or may present additional or further challenges to an already tender transformational opportunity—mind you, you very well may not be observing your present circumstances as an opportunity… please do not misunderstand.
But however these energies are twisting and turning or transmuting for you, Saturn’s presence in between how you feel about these circumstances and how these circumstances actually are—suggest that these circumstances, when and only when necessary adjustments are made and that which is broken, decayed, or dis-eased is treated or eliminated… true transformationally transmutational growth awaits.
These transformations, and their requirements, of course, may not be obvious to you at this time—hence, they may be eclipsed… and will emerge from the darkness in their time.
Shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera states that when “you journey to the depths, and suddenly discover a great truth: that when you go deep enough, you emerge into a place that is far beyond you, and Powers await you there…”
This is when you are touched by the Divine. Sometimes.
This is when the Mysteries become clear. Sometimes.
This is when the clockworks of the cosmos align with your own inner rhythm. Sometimes.
Scorpio energies are often considered starkly darkness or light; good, or evil… Scorpio doesn’t sit on fences well. However, the High Priestess archetype associated with this moon directly stands for just that—the High Priestess is both darkness and light—Scorpio energies, when elevated, evolved, and emerged beyond… know everything simply as it is—and the essence within this knowing: is awe. The origins of the word ‘awe’ involve both ‘fear’ and ‘pain’, but simultaneously evolved to describe both reverence and overwhelming admiration for ‘that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like…’ and is thus connected to the idea or concept of God, or the universe, and, of course, ultimately—to the Mysteries; to that which we cannot explain.
Regardless of how evolved Scorpio energies are—these energies are inherently orchestrated toward that which can (or should) inspire awe, especially when elevated in vibrational frequency… and in particular, when this energetic force field of sorts is pure, and not forced or manipulated.
For instance, when what I call ‘transcriptions’ come to me—or that which I couldn’t possibly know anything about, or do not know anything about—I feel tingly all over, and this is how I know that the transcription is not being created from my mind or my ego, that it is pure… and this is frighteningly similar to a feeling of awe, and there is no darkness or light—it simply is, and it comes through as it is needed.
With awe, too, there can be, as with the associations of pain and fear, feelings of discomfort or unfamiliarity can be experienced—and the degree through which today’s lunarly eclipse occurs is associated with new territory and making oneself at home therein and so this would suggest that something new is manifesting for you within your personal reality, be it an actual new home or a new way of experiencing your life—what was is no longer… in likely a very severe way, or at least in a cumbersome or uncomfortable way.
What exactly is the discomfort? From where does this discomfort stem, or originate?
In what ways are you familiar? In what ways do you feel comfortable?
In what ways do you feel awe?—in your everyday, or infrequently?
Do you see the gray?—or is it always dark or light?
Are you embracing an inevitable change, or shift, or evolution?
❝Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life.❞ ——Rachel Carson
Today’s Scorpio moon moves without aspecting, somehow influencing its Scorpionic powers that much more intensely, and indirectly…
There might be a looming eeriness in the air, or a very disregarded obviousness loitering in the shadows of the psyche… or maybe it’ll feel more like a haunted awareness toward that which is directly in front of you or within you or in regard of you—penetrating straight into the soft and unsuspecting marrow within your bones.
Also, the Scorpio eclipse is tomorrow… though its lessons and leanings will resonate through the next six months, its deepest intensities will peak tomorrow.
Despite the moon’s strength being bright and growing, today’s moon is darkened, symbolically and metaphorically, and eclipses, after all, define that which is darkened, darkened to the point of elimination… or release.
Further, it is the South Node that is currently moving through Scorpio, and the South Node represents that which is being lost, or needs to be let go… not to mention, simultaneously, representing that which we tend to cling to.
Of course, rather than losing—it is typically best to voluntarily release, surrender, or sacrifice… but always, this choice is yours.
Shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera speaks of this moon as ‘going under the cloak’, which he explains “mystics and holy people [who] practiced a technique of deep meditation and communion called going under the cloak… in this custom, the mystics who sought to commune with the gods and divine the question to a crucially important problem—perhaps one that would determine the outcome for the future of an entire people—would roll themselves in a great cloak of dark wool to shut out the light and remain there for up to three days…”
They would fully deprive themselves, as if within their own versions of a sensory deprivation tank, and “at the end of it, they would have the answer… sometimes that answer was terrifying, but it was always true.”
Kaldera states that this moon is fully dedicated to shadow work.
This shadow work, and the darknesses being either confronted or battled—or befriended in an effort toward either release or surrender—are directed inward, within, into our own personal Underworld, into the depths of the darknesses… a moon which is, again, as Kaldera calls it, “a moon of patience and courage… a moon in which we go down into our own depths and deal with our monsters.”
Kaldera explains further, that this essence and purpose of this moon’s energies are to love the monsters, the darknesses, the fears, and the depths… that healing these isn’t the point at all, nor should this be the goal—as we are all inherently flawed as equally as we are all divinely imperfect—to love these flaws and imperfections is where the light begins to shine through.

Today’s energies and reveries are potentially layered and varied between emotional pangs and pendulum swings…
Through a Libra moon we need to fully and wholly consider Other, be it an/Other or an Other otherwise… either way, there is always always a tendency to lose oneself within the very touchy, emotional and consummating process. Issues of projection and/or repression, then, very easily come into play—if not action. Specifically, the Libra moon, when in its gibbous phase, represents romantic love—as opposed to transpersonal love, familial love, or motherly/paternal love, or, heaven help us all, virtual love…
However, especially with Venus currently moving without aspect, and thereby navigating this temporary flux or pause in desire/desiring—ideas or matters of romantic love, then, too, today, may feel as though they are either paused, muted, out of sync, or otherwise disconnected… and, in other words, possibly without balance.
This kink, seemingly from out of nowhere—is there an underlying patterning to it, if you were to dig deeply and honestly enough?
This kink, then—what, precisely, is it drawing out, or illuminating, for you?
Are you beginning to realize issues related to projection or repression, or outright avoidance—through yourself or from an/Other—more painfully clearly through this current kink?
Further, it is quite often that “we go through our lives without noticing the information that can be gained from looking at small or seemingly insignificant things… the revelation that this experience can change one’s life, if time is taken to stop long enough to really look into it…”
Obviously, if there is pain beneath whatever it is you’re finding, or whatever it is that’s emerging—it’s understandable how you might not want to linger or loiter any longer than necessary… though I’m afraid this kink of pause may take awhile—and when Venus does aspect, its aspects won’t be fluffy.
Celestially speaking, particularly as the second eclipse is on Sunday, the energies are indicating a need for adjustments… and personal presence, particularly within your own reality.
Further, and finally, there’s an indicative suggestion toward ‘rising through one’s talents’, and ‘living fully within one’s own myths’… which suggests both going above and beyond your current planes of consciousness, intentionally… but also, and in tandem thereof—you are your energy.
Astrologer Dane Rudhyar transcribed this technique—this technique of human interaction and emotional exchange—makes “a life truly ‘human’… and he referred to this as conscious participation—which is to imply a conscious participation toward and with all things and all energies.
Energies change all the time… and so can you.

First of all, today’s airy moon connects to a now retrograding Mercury through a degree that associates itself with the balancing act between listening and learning… between integrating and keeping sacred.
Further, “information and understanding is coming to you or through you… insight, knowledge, and expertise are available or present, or at least they need to be…” and this should be quite valuable to you.
How are you feeling about your teachings and your lessons?
What needs to be learned on an inner level?
What can be passed on to others so they might learn, and improve their lives?
Today’s moon is governed by Venus, and if you read my recently published Venus Moods for this week, you’ll remember that Venus makes no aspects all week and there is then this place to pause in regard to that which you desire, and that which desires you…
These more paused and seemingly impotent energies could even manage to emerge or erupt, seemingly out of nowhere, repressed and rendered qualm-less.
To quote my post, I wrote that you may find yourself navigating through matters involving “instead of your assertion or challenges, projections or demands—you are being challenged to simply assure yourself… that this is happening (and I would like to add additionally from my original post that it is neither happening to you or for you, but simply just happening…), that this is its own adventure, and that you truly do desire what you desire for yourself and your own livelihood.”
Further, I wrote that “if there is true, authentic potential (within your desire) to be expressed and collaborated… still, with Mars energies being the foundational vibration of things Venusian for these moments (and Mars is more or less currently struggling with issues of impotency) taking a pause, however precious, will likely not be easy, or enjoyed, or even considered…”
Today’s Venusian-ruled moon opposes Venus in Aries through a degree that is associated to ‘claustrophobia; coming into the light; going into dark places; and memories out of the past or out of nowhere…’
And you know what they say about the moon opposing Venus? —just a little astrology 101…
The moon and Venus do not always see eye to eye, contrary to popular belief… particularly when Venus is in Aries—you may be navigating an aggressive tension… further, this tension may be having its way with both your private, inner emotional securities and your external environments and/or relationships… either having its way, or coming in between—neither of which attempt to secure or protect your preferences or your needs… either of which severely upsets a Libran moon.
And likely, none of it’s coming from out of nowhere…
Finding its source would be essential—use these lunarly connections to a retrograded Mercury wisely.
