★THURSDAY FORECAST

Pisces/Aries Gibbous Moon—December 1

Ahh… the aftermath of yesterday’s choices and feelings.

And, almost as if automatically timed—today’s energies may very well offer you a revelation… if you’re searching.

This revelation, however, may take a more authoritative angle or advantageous avenue. Be aware, that this revelatory influence is more about an experience—not just a mere symbolism or coincidence—something of a spiritual quickening… which is something that would hold the power to transform you—to most literally redirect your living trajectory.

Or it can be a change in policy or procedures… or announcements toward new information.

Ultimately, you could experience ‘internal conflict when considering your options today… as things could go wrong or turn out unexpectedly today…’

It is especially important, today, to not fall for every flashing light or coinciding symbolism… as these energies reflect something much more exotic and profoundly unfamiliar—these energies are ripe, dare I suggest, for something more closely aligned with supernatural phenomena or mysteriously psychic disruptions…

Which, in other words, is to say that you would do yourself a favor through understanding that the universe always has a larger plan existing upon a higher realm of consciousness—and to remember that, despite your plans or preferences, you are only able to see just so far ahead… and there is much more around the corner, particularly the corner that represents What Could Be.

This goes much further into an entirely different conversation about the language and relationality of the universe—one that I could go on and on and on about… perhaps another day.

Ultimately, it could very well come down to making a necessary change that would create a new pathway that wasn’t previously available, wasn’t open as an option before whatever change or adjustment or pivot was made…

If you’re currently seeking after change, making a change, or needing something to change—these are the days to make a real difference within your reality—though it may require you to participate further than merely the making-of-the-change itself… it may require you to divide the overall of your reality into smaller compartments within your reality in an effort to see these layers of your life more closely…

You may be surprised by what you notice or find.

The act of contemplation creates the thing contemplated.

★WEDNESDAY FORECAST

Pisces 1st Quarter Moon AT 8°21’—November 30

One word?— yikes.

Sorry… that’s unfair—it might be someone’s birthday…

But ugh… for real.

To start—the first quarter moon in Pisces, according to shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera, is the Martyr’s Moon; as, through this moon, one “does not have a lot of experience with defending [oneself] and putting up walls, [one] simply lets it all be passively taken…”

Ultimately, this moon heavily influences the feelings of superiority one may possess over others, in whatever way—specifically through the ways one gives or offers oneself… or through a complete lack of personal boundaries to be haphazardly trespassed upon the whim of whomever.

It’s a real ‘Sophie’s choice’ of a day.

This is the essence of the energies emerging today.

The degree through which this first quarter moon occurs is one which speaks to ‘teaching people what they really need to know…’ but from who’s perspective, exactly?

Otherwise, ‘insights and knowledgeability; maintaining discipline over oneself and others; finding a balance between indulgence and strictness; disciplining one’s emotions and mind; domination of will over desire; concentrating on the task at hand; traveling the distance for the next generation; and serving as a model of rectitude…’

Keep in mind that a first quarter moon is a moon that influences changes needed through our inner knowing, to actively fix—typically it is now, through a first quarter moon, that we’re given a nudge within our psyche toward something that might not be fitting within our overall narrative, goal, or ideal… and should we choose to ignore this nudge—the nudge tends to become more physically manifesting within our reality by the full moon or last quarter moon.

One perspective of the degree through which this lunar event occurs notions the awakening of a vampire… ‘the darkness calls to those who have been surfeited with too much compromise and too unbearable a load of suffering… there are regions of the dark to live out parts of self or all of self for a time—and inside darkness, an immense power of what is here in the earth and still raging can be felt and harnessed… you are imaginatively and inwardly pulled toward the great extremes—not able to go on in any usual way… but you ultimately fathom the mysteries and the depths, by exploring all that is there and finding in the end that all is sacred, all is beautiful, and all is integral to the fibers of existence…’

Another perspective still, that this degree ‘speaks to the requirement that an individual throw himself into life, hone his skills and talents, and make every effort his best one if he wishes to stand in the winner’s circle…’

And so there is a real temptation, then, to very literally use yourself, or an/Other, in an effort to gain something—though the boundaries and the expectations likely remain elusive.

Through this degree “the ‘race’ is on and you may feel that you are near the finish, but there is no guarantee of victory…” though the ‘race’ of personal evolution is never a race…

Through this degree it ‘is time to extract all available energy possible into the situation, making sure you’re not expanding it too quickly and not really getting anywhere or achieving anything of lasting value… be careful, too, not to bolt out of the gate without thought of ramifications.’

If winning, or achieving, or succeeding in terms of accolades or award, legacy, or recognition is what you’re after—these can be/become somewhat addictive… or if you’re wanting attention alone—like with social media, it’s intoxicating, and alienating. But if it’s a chance you’re seeking, an improvement, an upgrade, or a personal transformation… this, my friend, will take awhile and mustn’t be rushed.

There’s groundwork to consider. Training. Particularly if you’ve never done this before… there are layers of steps to contemplate most thoroughly—this should not be taken as laissez fare.

Speaking of social media, @centeredselftherapy on Instagram posts very helpful memes regarding psychological health… here are a number of considerations in regard to learning more about yourself—and maybe an/Other:

• what is your attachment style?

• what makes you feel loved?

• what are your triggers?—(God forbid someone not have one…) (parentheses and automatic eye roll mine)

• are there unhelpful ways you might react when you become triggered or stressed out?

• what are your go-to self-soothing strategies?

• what are your self-sabotaging behaviors?

• what are your core beliefs that influence how you might interpret your life and your experiences?

• what are things that you enjoy, and what are some things you don’t enjoy?

• what turns you on?

• what are your hopes and dreams and desires?—and why?

And, perhaps more pertinently to this moon—what are your coping skills amidst or within an emotionally volatile circumstance and/or a physical loss, upheaval, or trauma?

This first quarter moon occurs within the first decan of Pisces, a decan that associates itself to the 8 of cups in the tarot…

This first decan of Pisces, according to astrologer Austin Coppock, describes “the process of return, the beginning of the end of differentiated awareness… these faces show a fearful and ecstatic going back, a drunken stumbling home.”

This is a decan governed by Saturn, and so there is an inherent seriousness about, and possibly a heavily laced somber tone as well… “here figures stumble in darkness, their fingers tracing walls they cannot see… we come to recognize our imprisonment in our own reality construct here, a labyrinth we ever wander—yet the discovery of its walls portend its destruction, and the possibility of liberation… outside its subtle enclosure waits a world as yet uncorrupted by our assumptions.”

The 8 of cups is a card that most specifically signals: moving on… new directions and new horizons are typical manifestations through this card, and “this could be a time in your life when you feel that you need something different… or perhaps you’re taking a time-out to search your soul,” says tarot reader Theresa Reed, and suggests “don’t look back—look ahead and trust that whatever you are about to do will bring growth.”

There’s a real wandering quality to this card, to these energies…

Tarot writer TS Chang writes of this card that realization is a heavily laced theme… realizing the differences between ideals and reality—realizing, specifically, “through the emotions…” realizing overwhelm and saturation—realizing, most ultimately, “that you’re done”.

Further, Chang writes that the 8 of cups often correlates to the “remo[val] of someone or something from a situation where they no longer belong(ed)…”

Finally, Chang concluded that this card can symbolize “great uncertainty and doubt… this is only a problem if you’re committed to ‘following the plan at all costs’, particularly if the plan is someone else’s… if you can, take a step back, leaving behind eight cups’ worth of past assumptions—imagine you are floating in the sea of the whole universe as your problem (whatever it is) diminishes a tiny point and then—pop!—extinguishes itself… in the amniotic darkness, let go of the fear that ‘anything could happen’, and open up to wonder and to awe: indeed, anything could happen!”

Tarot writer Jessica Dore writes of this card that it has the tendency to manifest a particular ‘not-enough-ness’ to it…

Further, Dore writes that “this card is often interpreted as a difficult departure, a walking away that requires faith (there is no destination pictured), intuition (there is no path), and also what is not visible—the fact that this person has the ability to cope with whatever it takes to walk while carrying the weight of losing the eight cups they’ve left behind…”

And this is where it becomes strikingly crucial in importance—these personal talents and skills that we are able to use… sometimes become much more useful, in strangely unexpected ways, than you could ever imagine. Particularly if you are unsure of your next steps—when you understand who you are, what you’re actually capable of, and you realize what skills and talents you possess… the more practical, and doable, it may begin to feel in regard to making a necessary, and likely risky or scary change. Especially if your mind and heart were weighted, in tandem, to a specific horizon with rigidly specific landscaping…

Finally, Dore writes “knowing how to cope well with the requisite pain and grief of letting go is hugely important when making a life—it is foundational to getting unstuck because it diminishes the compassion to cope in ways that make things worse… when we have the coping skills to manage the emotional windfall of tough choices, we can do hard things rather than live our lives avoiding feelings we don’t have the tools to manage—paradoxically, avoidance makes life exponentially less manageable as time goes on… coping skills are a basic competency for the tough calls that a good life requires.”

Sending love and comfort to you and yours on a particularly prickly, potentially processing day.

We tolerate shapes in human beings that would horrify us if we saw them in horses.

★TUESDAY FORECAST

Aquarius/Pisces Crescent Moon—November 29

Continued planning and strategizing, envisioning and mindfully manifesting…

The moon moves through the final degrees of Aquarius and then moves into Pisces, no lunarly aspects occur—suggesting, then, a personally prioritized opening to consider your goals and priorities more deeply, and more specifically your ideals… and then to consider your ideal ideals, a bit more personally.

In fact—much more personally…

The Pisces crescent moon is a moon shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera suggests “we explore our internal fantasies…”

Kaldera suggests daydreaming… or escapist entertainments to inspire.

But perhaps most pertinently, for today, Kaldera asks you to ask yourself: what appeals to me, and why?; what pulls me back to the mundane world?; what are my anchors there?

Today, most preciously, is about recognizing the fantasy within our lives—particularly the fantasy we create without even realizing it, such as truths or preferences or even relational connections… and understanding the reality of our actual realities. If our ideals are a bit too obscure, or so elusive that they are nearly next to impossible, how are we to appropriately assess the steps toward it in an effort to manifest it?

Today may even present you with an example, in real time, through which you can better realize that which is too elusively fantasy… and that which is useable fantasy already existing within your reality.

Kaldera also recommends drinking tons of water.

It is not that I think or believe…
but that I know…❞

★MONDAY FORECAST

Aquarius Crescent Moon—November 28

Continuing forward, onward and upward…

Continuing to keep a keenly focused eye upon the bullseye target of your goals…

However, today’s energies may have you somewhat defensive or guarded toward something—or the likelihood, probability or even extremely rare possibility of something.

This vibration could even be signaling the need to be protective of something.

Perhaps you’re needing some reassurance, or infamously unasked-for proverbial words of wisdom, promise, guarantee or divinely orchestrated miracle of sorts… in the meantime—try to be sensitive… but totally discerning—for certainty is likely the very thing you’re seeking so warily, or anxiously.

Certainty may very well or certainly arrive unexpectedly—or through entirety unexpected means.

Again, discernment is most certainly a tool in your favor.

Some people think they have discernment when actually they are just suspicious… suspicion comes out of the unrenewed mind; discernment comes out of the renewed spirit.

★SUNDAY FORECAST

Capricorn/Aquarius Crescent Moon—November 27

There is a huge and heavy dual-doubly heightened and intensified emphasis, today—and building—upon continuing forward and onward with your goals.

Countless studies have shown—the major, most important steps in sticking to your goals are:

• understanding the underlying reasons for your goal to more appropriately determine your plans toward the goal

• ensuring both your goal and plan is specific

• making your goals feel easier to achieve

• holding yourself accountable to your goal

• staying motivated

• being consistent

• celebrating every win—big or small

There is ‘rugged determination’ in the air today—seize the day!

It is the ultimate wisdom of the mountains that a man is never more a man than when he is striving for what is beyond his grasp.

★SATURDAY FORECAST

Capricorn Crescent Moon—November 26

Continuing upon the impossible and improbable…

Today’s energies may “speak to the strength and comfort an individual experiences when he realizes that he is not adrift or alone in the universe but is inseparably linked… [as well as to] the miracle of spiritual transformation that comes with this awareness…”

Though, it may be possible that you do, in fact, however, feel a bit adrift, for whatever reason. Or, there may simply be some manner of blockage existing or emerging, preventing you from so easily feeling the flow… though, should you be willing to work through whatever blockage you’re up against—to be in an active participation with this struggle, to immerse yourself willingly and to surrender all efforts in defensive mechanisms—will prove to open more for you than you ever thought likely.

However, should you be feeling the flow—you’ll likely get much done. Just remember: priorities—and these will inevitably lead you to the necessary bare essentials which are probably in need of some of your attention.

How much has to be explored and discarded before reaching the naked flesh of feeling…

★FRIDAY FORECAST

Sagittarius/Capricorn Crescent Moon—November 25

Today’s moon, while still in Sagittarius—oh, so much joviality!—squares Jupiter, the first portion of the day’s lunarly ruler, as Jupiter stations…

To imagine, Zeus himself—without words, paused… on hold.

This degree, from the moon’s perspective, in Sagittarius, is associated with participatory effort—this is a symbolic pause toward any reason or manner of putting in a participatory effort in yourself, particularly toward any effort of improvement… specifically, to “decide what improvements you need to make in yourself in order to reach your goals…”

It’s a pause in time to catch your breath and “develop a plan of action…”

From Jupiter’s perspective, this pause is inspired toward ‘a participatory effort’ in objectivity, and self-analysis… and utter personal perplexity.

The things about yourself that are perplexing—to yourself or to others—need not be impossible to tackle… not now.

Once the moon moves into Capricorn, its crescent phasing, according to shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera, is the moon when “we attempt the impossible… or at the very least the dauntingly difficult.”

Whatever impossible plans you consider—know that these are yours and yours alone… this is your impossible to make possible, Kaldera advises that “whatever you do, do it without help; this is a moon of lone accomplishment, attempted for the mastery experience or to achieve a goal—don’t rely on luck—plan and prepare, train and attack… make a strategic attack on the goal as if it was a battle you could not afford to lose…”

And with Jupiter paused in your wake—the world can be your oyster, if you choose to take it.

However, Kaldera writes, “if you fail, prepare once more with the proper compensations and do it again.”

There is only one sort of success—to be able to spend your life in your own way.

★THURSDAY FORECAST

Sagittarius Crescent Moon—November 24

First of all, whether you ‘believe in it’ or not—wishing you warmth and wellness on this day of gratitude and celebration.

Thanksgiving is a national holiday, one of the holidays that wasn’t colluded and repurposed by the Christians from the pagans—rather, it was an occasion more politically orchestrated and motivated for votes… I’m not sure which is worse. Still, it’s origins, however untrue, were contrived in an effort to bring the country together again in unity after the nasty and varied divisions brought about by the civil war. Perhaps some things never change… I would suggest that we’re quite divided these days as well.

May we come together and break bread in spite of it all.

If there’s hope to be had, to be made—or could ever be—possible, it’s through average, middle-of-the-road Sagittarian vibrations… starry-eyed, beaming, viewing the world and its endless issues through lenses of rose—and sometimes, this manner of madness makes me think that if only Sagittarians were the ones ringing the bell with the red buckets in front of every still-standing brick-and-mortar establishment of encouraged capitalism—maybe they’d need more than a small bucket… maybe small changes would emerge more frequently, more dramatically—maybe the rest of us would feel that much more optimistic about actual change.

Anyway…

Today’s moon.

Still in Sagittarius and connecting to both Venus and Mercury, in conjunction, and nearly immediately thereafter connecting to Chiron by trine… degrees which speak, respectively, to reconciliations, adjustments, and rectifications…

New understandings and trying new things—exploring new behaviors!—would be effective now.

Possessing the courage to stand up for yourself, and your differences to the majority—even in the middle of dinner—is absolutely likely this year…

And sometimes—sometimes an/Other needs to be made aware of either private suffering or isolated wounds to realize just how mighty an impact has been made in an effort for a difference in actions or behaviors to be adjusted.

Later, the moon will move to oppose a retrograded Mars through a degree that associated itself with examination…

(New) boundaries would be helpful now. Particularly if an adjustment is unlikely or impossible.

It’s really a wonder that I haven’t dropped all my ideals, because they seem so absurd and impossible to carry out. Yet I keep them, because in spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.

★WEDNESDAY FORECAST

Sagittarius New Moon AT 1°38’—November 23

Can you feel the shift in energies and reverberations from Scorpio to Sagittarius!!?—it’s wild…

And right off the bat—still making ourselves comfortable within these new vibrations—it’s a new moon!

This new moon is asking you to experience… something.

These experiences, though, that Sagittarian energies are really seeking—underneath any of its denials—are the experiences that, as shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera writes, “that force us to confront ourselves and our own biases…” and travel absolutely encouraged.

The degree through which this new moon occurs describes ‘spirit-stirred consciousness’… and ‘irrepressibility’. This degree “speaks to the bountiful response of the universe to an individuals expectations, in terms of giving [you] whatever [you] need in life…” as long as you are open to experiencing both yourself and your inner depths honestly—as long as you’re open to honestly experiencing life, as it is.

Another facet of this new moon is the inherent restlessness writhing beneath the surface—particularly for those of you lacking any true/real directionality… those of you working on/toward goals, ideals, or projects otherwise might ‘experience’ a striving forward—even flourishing—with your goals, ideals, or projects.

There is a personal will that needs to be commanded here…

Your willingness to experience.

Your willingness to live.

Your willingness to be actively alive.

Your willingness to allow yourself ease and comfort and joy.

Your willingness to resist forcing that which isn’t to be.

Through this new moon there is the offering of ‘resourcefulness and an effervescent anticipation of the opportunities and challenges of everyday life…’

Pulling one’s own strings is a way to describe these energies, as well as keeping one’s sense of identity fluid… though these experiences—particularly if you’re lacking direction or purpose—they’re likely becoming expanded and overwhelmed. These experiences, too, taking up so much space within your thoughts, can “seem to be more important than they really are…”

This misunderstanding can misconstrue much.

Further, “you may find that surface emotions have been whipped up and this has led to a concern that is disproportionate to the depth of the real issue before you… and whether your situations contains difficult components, or whipped up and excited ones, the truth of the matter is that the foundations of your life are much more settled and the surface emotional distress is probably just misleading matters—staying anchored to what is true, permanent and stable in your life can help you get through whatever has been churned up…”

There is a real need for patience—though I realize that this is likely the last conceivable consideration—as well as personal presence.

This new moon occurs within the first decan of Sagittarius—a decan associated with the 8 of wands… and to read about the first decan of Sagittarius, since I just wrote about it yesterday, click here…

Endure pain, find joy, and make your own meaning, because the universe certainly isn’t going to supply it. Always be a moving target. Live. Live. Live.

★TUESDAY FORECAST

Scorpio Balsamic Moon—November 22

Today’s moon re-illuminates the separating square between Saturn and Uranus through its monthly opposition to Uranus and its monthly ‘last quarter’ square to Saturn…

This month these lunarly illuminations occur through degrees that describe both independence, and investigation.

The moon opposing Uranus very easily describes an erratic impulse toward independence, though, this month—the degree through which this is translated—this independence is supported; this degree ‘speaks to man’s struggle to meet his practical obligations in the everyday world while, at the same ring, longing to find higher meaning in his life or live on more transcendent levels…’

You may simply find yourself, within a more practical perspective, that you’ve become somewhat burdened by something that isn’t yours, or overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing for yourself… when really, all you want to do is express yourself or explore other parts of yourself.

In a subtle, almost silent way, you may feel as though you are wasting your potential.

No, this isn’t heavy at all…

And so this month, the lunarly opposition to Uranus may strike within you an impulse to take charge and go against the grain—to take your life into your own doing, and do what you feel, however fleetingly, is best… and likely most thrilling.

And with the lunarly square to Saturn—typically something of a roadblock or obstacle—occurring this month through a degree that supports the unknown…

Wham!

You’ve got yourself a potential plot.

This degree describes ‘daring, and a willingness to risk the secure and known in order to open the self to new experience…’

And if you’ve done your shadow work—all the more power to you with this… because, with this often comes some kind of confrontation with something you’re likely trying to resist, deny, avoid, or repress—though, if you’re up for a real psyche upgrade, you’ll probably find that whatever it was you were attempting to resist, deny, avoid, or repress… underneath it all is actually something incredible real and raw and unapologetically You…

And you need it—because it empowers you.

Maybe today you’ll decide you need to look under the bed…

And, it’s essential to point out that this year the sun moves into Sagittarius today—just twenty-two minutes after midnight here on the west coast… the solar shift between Scorpio and Sagittarius is severe, to say the very least…

May your horizons be bright, and your curiosity prepared to experience.

Any doctrine that will not bear investigation is not a fit tenant for the mind of an honest man. Any man who is afraid to have his doctrine investigated is not only a coward but a hypocrite.❞
