And although you are very likely experiencing something of a ‘broadened experience’ in some way, the moon connects to Mercury by trine through the first degree… this degree also refers “to oppressive conditions as it represents a “closing of accounts,” a final evaluation of the harvest of the cycle… what is stressed is the coming together, in a final experience… of all factors previously experienced; this means constructive interaction—in a practical sense, [this] emphasizes that the time has come to take full advantage of social opportunities…”¹
Today’s moon is also the Poets Moon, titled by shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera, a moon which is used “to think about what you are willing to sacrifice for your own creative self-expression, or perhaps why you sacrifice it instead…”²
Feelings are heightened and sensitivities are also quite piqued today—and these energies could inspire you to tune in and center yourself into a very groovy vibration… or these energies could also overwhelm you, and drown out your intuition or inner voice in some way—or there could be confusions or misinterpretations of meaning or intention.

Saturn also stations direct later tonight at 25°20′ Capricorn*, offering a likely heavy dose of reality… and there’s not typically much whimsy associated with these notions.
One perspective upon the degree through which Saturn stationed is associated with “the hide-and-seek of the Self from the Self; projecting parts of oneself onto lovers or enemies; facing one’s psychological problems squarely; refusing to get immersed in the flow of time-bound events; and glimmering reflections of the eternal within the physical…”³
Wowzah, right?!
And finally, Venus and Mars connect by trine through the twenty-fifth degrees of Leo and Aries, respectively, suggesting my original presumption and hope for beauty, ease, creativity, and dreamy whimsy… though Saturn’s stationing may maintain something of, at least, a strictness to these—a sobriety toward beauty, a seriousness of ease, a disciplined creativity, and a very, very realistically dreamy whimsy *wink*
