Libra Disseminating Moon
—March 18
Yesterday I mentioned, in light of illuminated weaknesses and brokenness, to honor these through getting to the root cause…
This notion and sentiment continue to resonate.
Pluto is finally moving through the twenty-eighth degree of Capricorn, a degree Pluto hasn’t experienced since 1776—and will be moving through this degree, and stationing retrograde, through the first half of June—and so rooting out and eliminating any remaining or thriving dis-ease is necessary…
When today’s moon, while still in Virgo, though disseminating—but still very much percolating with the mornings fullness—connects with Pluto by trine, through this degree, it suggests that drastic measures will need to be made to fulfill the becoming of wholeness.
And it’s likely a matter to resolve toward the health of your mind, body, and soul… and overall personal reality.
Astrologer Dane Rudhyar transcribed this degree, notedly, that “after a crisis one should seek to realign the renewed consciousness with the primordial revelation of the truth…”
Continued, Rudhyar expresses that “any revolutionary movement, once it has succeeded in overcoming the inertia of the past and in toppling obsolete structures, needs to tap the most essential realities of what man represents and signifies in the universal order; or else it merely re-embodies in a superficially altered manner the very things it has destroyed…”
Further, Rudhyar explains the crucial importance of this moment.
The crucial importance of this moment—indeed, particularly for those of us in the states, as it’s a Pluto return (1776), and thereby that much more momentously relevant…
‘Root knowledge’, as Rudhyar refers to it, is the only way to “provide safe foundation for rebirth.”
All of these symbolisms will be much more emphasized on March 26th, when the moon connects to Pluto by conjunction, for the first time since 1776, after a last quarter moon in Capricorn on March 25th… it is suggested that a major and transformational reckoning is either coming, occurring, or necessary—your own reckoning to respond to our react toward, as well as a collective response/reaction.
Then the moon moves into Libra…
Responses and reactions become somewhat accelerated.
Rudhyar comments upon this celestial exchange as “the inner revelation which brought about dramatic confrontations [—that these] can now be meditated upon as it is reflected on the calm waters of the mind…” and he offers ‘relief’, offered through “self-control and poise, necessary to reach a steady state of inner stability.”
Let’s look at both Venus and Mars, as the moon is being governed by Venus today, and this lunarly connection to Mars continues to illuminate the two, as tomorrow the moon will connect to Venus…
Mars is moving through a degree of Aquarius that associates itself to ‘self-revaluation’, and “the need to deal with human beings as persons rather than as screens upon which one projects one’s dreams and ideals…”
Whereas Venus, today, is moving through a degree of Aquarius associated with ‘the natural progression of states of consciousness’… and I think this is quite compelling—accentuating “the necessity of recognizing differences of types and levels of development wherever human beings live and work together.”
We’re simply not all on the same frequencies and wavelengths, or navigating about among the same levels of consciousness—we’re just not, and never have… Rudhyar summarizes this theory by stating that “every human being is potentially divine as an individual person… but the natural progression of states of consciousness is an unavoidable reality to accept.”
I realize that I’ve largely described the lunarly laurels today in a more collective underlying tone—though I do wonder if, even on a personal or individual level, you’ll feel it somewhat psychically, mundanely, or even irrationally so—psychosomatically…
Because it’s a Libra moon, either way—underneath it all, above and below—you’ll likely be torn or conflicted toward the root cause of something, between something and another thing, whatever these may be for you in your personal reality… though the root cause, essentially, is all that really matters—and your response toward it.
❝In order to grow, we need to know ourselves. To understand what triggers certain behavior, we need to identify the root cause.❞
