Taurus Gibbous Moon—January 29
First of all, let me clarify that the post I wrote regarding Pluto in Aquarius—the volatility experienced will not be a constant, that that energy was specific to a moon/Pluto square, and squares tend to be somewhat tense and/or stressful as they represent energy needing pushed through, or requiring an adjustment… and apologies for any confusion with this—I tend to get myself on a roll…
Further, I forgot to add that Pluto will only be dipping its toe into Aquarius this year (in March through June) before retrograding back into Capricorn at the end of the year—and will move into Aquarius, fully and completely, from 2024-44.
Okay. Now. Today’s energy.
Today the moon squares Saturn.
Specifically, today’s moon is a gibbous moon, in Taurus, squaring back to Saturn—through a degree that illuminates resourcefulness.
Resourcefulness particularly toward limitations.
You may learn more about your needs—or your personal values, after yesterday’s reality check—and in whatever way, these are much more important, either of which are now beginning to feel as though you need to ‘find new and clever ways to use what you have to accomplish your goals…’
Resourcefulness and self-sufficiency is key now.

Further, this particular gibbous moon is a moon shamanic astrologer Raven Kaldera suggests we “learn about being part of a balanced system that includes Nature and yet makes room for our own efforts… we learn about taking full responsibility…”
Nature always gives in kind.
Another perspective toward the degree through which today’s moon/Saturn square occurs refers to ‘courtship, pursuit, orchestration, passion…’
Courtship. The courtship between Nature and your efforts—and believe me, this is the preferred direction to take this, as an actual romantic/professional courtship between a moon/Saturn square is likely one of weighted emotionality, and likely harboring burden in some manner.
Further, quite contrarily, this square alone—in whatever direction—between Taurean and Aquarian energies, could influence rigidly detached determination toward an end result. This determination toward your own needs, and your values, is essentially critical now—as you likely, more personally, experienced yesterday—and so any personal effort toward your needs and values will be balanced in kind.
Today is a day to really lean into it then, instead of letting it weigh down on you or swallow you whole.
Today is a day to really use what you’ve got to move yourself forward, closer to what you need and value.
Today is a day to begin courting your needs and values. Seriously. Much more seriously. And sufficiently.
