Taurus Balsamic Moon; Part 2

I’m hesitant to assume, yet I’m inclined to presume, that you’ve been experiencing revelations, navigating breakthroughs, and thoughtfully considering how to both secure and receive the most from your ideals… and today may further clarify—or more meaningfully articulate—your soul/psyche alignment here in your Now.

Venus continues to govern the moon moving through Taurus, and Venus is busied now sharing an essential message, though a retrograded Venus is governed by Mercury, now in Cancer… and stationing retrograde today at 14° Cancer.

This message could become so much more deeply embedded or ensconced in pain or pressures, or entranced by higher truths, than one could ever imagine… or embody a little bit of both.

The degree Mercury has been moving through since June 13th in preparation for retrogradation—preparing both personal and collective consciousness for reviewing and revived emotional compassion—anything repressed within the psyche, within the fleshy tissues of the heart, and the ethereal essence of the soul, is finding its way to the surface…

Surfacing which will either perpetuate itself or progress through July—keep in mind, and in heart, that this surfacing will occur through eclipse season.

Mind you, kindly, also—these are Cancerian energies… emotional energies, being conveyed clumsily through Mercury—which would suggest the reviewing or reassessing of squishy vulnerabilities, especially though, of the heart, through the mental mechanisms of mind… “faith may be the only light to guide you through…”¹

Which pressures me to review a bit, and possibly revive, a few of my recent translations…

To introduce this context, Rudhyar describes this degree as “fac[ing] the great Void, that apparent Darkness, which is an intense Light invisible to our senses… consistently and for a long time meditating on the changeless and spiritual reality at the very core of all experiences one can attain the supreme and age-old wisdom—we see in the symbol a way beyond appearances and toward permanence in truth…”²

And I am envisioning as much, however, allow me to clarify…

I continue to speak of a vagueness, a vague unknowable unknown that must be trusted… allow me to clarify for you—when I refer to this I mean to describe a vague unknowing in regard to which direction the collective is unfolding, as only time will tell, and we, together, are literally writing this narrative each day, both individually and collectively… though your personal authenticity and bluer than blue ideals should be articulated and quite clear by now—it is imperative, through this strange and elusive Now, that you know exactly what you want and precisely what you’re striving for, and perhaps most specifically: why.

To further clarify, I am not suggesting going with the flow or following the sheep—I am astrologically advising the listening of your soul and the following of your inner voice and instincts, despite all the current alarm and vagueness in all directions… and to have yourself a spiritually strategic plan, because the unfolding of a new reality is only just beginning, and will climax around 2022/23 and 2027, and linger through 2030.

To trust that—despite the vagueness and unknowables—your soul knows.

Moving on…

Naturally, “you could be feeling that even faith is difficult to keep hold of at the moment… you may feel let down… there needs to be both trust and courage that one’s inner wisdom is in touch with some higher truth—we need this especially when we don’t know where we’re going and feel like we have to take things one day at a time.”¹

Indeed.

These higher truths will show themselves through open-mindedness and open-heartedness with emotional intelligence and discerning empathy—and once illuminated, could even be somewhat emotional; moving.

Today’s moon connects to Neptune by sextile, and much of Mercury’s retrogradation will connect to Neptune, suggesting that these emotional discoveries and new understandings would be best implemented through capacities of compassion… compassion for yourself, for others, and for the collective as a whole—for humanity at large—which we are all a part.

A large component of compassion involves forgiveness, and of course, unconditional love.

Conditions represent degrees of control.

Clearly, the celestial energies are advising, recommending, insisting, and maybe even demanding—karmic readjustments… and as the moon is in its balsamic phase, it is natural now to surrender to that which is much larger than yourself—to such things as love, patience, and self-nourishment.

With the mentality of Mercury moving backward through the emotions of Cancer, our thought processing—however typically rational—can become somewhat unhinged, if not properly processed, and can quickly grow resentful, hypersensitive, and egoically driven, especially especially so if you’re not taking appropriate care of yourself… and so what is learned through the emerging of these higher truths, and how these emotional truths are actually processed, is quite important.

Consider that this psychic processing will likely consume much of your concentrated focus, or background soundtrack, through July and possibly into August… these truths are much larger than you may realize upon first discovery, and should not be rushed or avoided—even if, or especially if, these truths feel personally or ancestrally or humanely offensive.

The degree through which Mercury will eventually station to move directly again, through the fifth degree of Cancer on July 11th, associates itself with great caution… with warning.

This degree implies that your “ideas or actions will not easily survive in a collision with the more powerful collective, especially if [you] are reckless or do not carefully think things through… even with the best of intentions, this may not be a good time to be insisting bravely that you or your needs be considered…”¹

The fundamental needs of humanity at large need to be considered now.

This, and these inferences, indeed, may be taken quite personally and be quite heartbreaking, as everyone is coming from their own personal perspective of experience.

Continued, “the collective has so much momentum; it will not stop its course to think about what’s happening to a single individual… if someone pits themselves and their energies against a group or society, there is a good chance that they will lose, at least in some way…”¹

By mid-July, the eclipses will have occurred, within the high tide of Cancer season, and, perhaps most significantly, with Mars moving into Aries… emotions, tempers, and egos could potentially be quite volatile, triggered, angered, and… not gonna lie—violent… even more so than we’re currently witnessing and experiencing.

To further this example, this degree was “prevalent in the life and death of Princess Diana; she was endeavoring to outrun the media on the night of her tragic accident… it seems sure that she was fed up with compromising herself to the needs of the media, her driver speeding in an attempt to outrun them—one can only speed for so long in life before one becomes an accident victim or some other kind of statistic…”¹

To conclude, and to the point of not carefully and cautiously examining the consequences of actions, “if you examine what risks are being taken in your situation you may realize the need to slow down or drop the need to “win” or “outrun”… done carefully however, you can indeed challenge the “big guys”, winning and coming out on top.”¹

Again, to the nourishment of humanity at large over that of the single ego.
