ॐOracular Mantra—new awareness lends itself to practical changes, which, in turn, inspire personal renovations and upgrades…

Venus rules today’s Taurean moon and today Venus opposes Chiron exactly at 5°47′, reverberating, however romantically or realistically: just how supported am I in my ideals?

This degree through which Venus connects with Chiron associates itself with “the need to visualize clearly one’s dreams or ideals in order to make them truly effectual… ” and so today may offer you another reminder to you that thoughts truly are things.

All of this Venusian energy abound—I couldn’t help but allow my mind to wander into interior decorating… to visualize clearly, in this instance, to more appropriately navigate today’s energies: visualize a room you want to renovate, or repaint—

Here are some suggested steps…

To begin, the room needs to be visualized as what it Could Be.

The room then needs to be cleared of everything, the trim and framing need thoroughly cleaned, and the old paint removed, if possible.

Metaphorically—cleaning the trim, and framing, and the stripping of the old paint—these could all resemble the very real psychic residue that tends to accumulate within our minds and hearts over time… until this is tended to, it won’t matter how much paint is (re)applied—the residual muck will show through eventually.

The muck needs thoroughly cleaned.

Within this process of removal, too, will likely involve some inevitable repair…

Part of the residual psychic wear-and-tear almost inherently includes damages endured and those never fully or previously repaired. Again, metaphorically, this make much sense, as well—before one can fully envision anything openly, the brokenness of the foundation itself needs to be acknowledged for what it is, addressed, and appropriately restored.

Next, you’ll likely begin to notice all of the ‘invisible flaws’…

You will need to, both literally and figuratively, hold up the light very closely and take the necessary tool, such as sandpaper—or constructively encouraging self-talk—to these flaws.

Flaws and imperfections, however, are going to exist—simply because we are human, just as a house is man-made… and these divine imperfections will vary wildly, from room to room, home to home, human to human. The point, however, is to prepare and repair your foundations in the most proper way, for you, which allows you to become your best self—despite the flaws, despite whatever setbacks or obstacles come up, despite it all.

Fractures, however, regardless of whether the naked eye can detect them or not, will grow and grow and eventually break down over time, until they ultimately crack apart altogether… it’s what fractures do. So it truly is worth your time and effort to always explore deeply, and adequately address what is discovered instead of avoiding it.

When you’ve appropriately secured the psychic foundations within yourself: you’re celestially and energetically supported… and whatever comes your way—you’ll be better equipped to protect yourself, and support an/Other in tandem to your own personal evolution.

Which leads me to the lining paper, paint tape, and primer…

Hahaha—I’ll spare you—and apologies for such corny comparatives—but it worked. As you visualized these ideals, though, you now have a clearer glimpse as to what exactly you’re working with, and up against, as well as precisely where your ideals exist within. Strategizing a clear plan will assist you in connecting these dots between No Longer and Not Yet, here in your Now.

Obviously, beyond a much needed awareness, it is the protecting of yourself that is key. But so, too, is necessary renovation, from within, working outward, periodically, from time to time.

Even those rooms which are inwardly broken and breaking but supported by time and bank accounts, or are hurriedly, albeit vacantly, redecorated by decorators and designers—these rooms will always be slightly off, or lacking, and will always feel cold, or strange, or wrong, and few folks will ever want to linger too long within them.

Likewise with people.

What’s a room if no one is able to enjoy oneself within it?

What’s an individual if the light is never turned on?
